Getting Ready for Darts

I'm shattered, but I've got to get ready for darts.
I'm trying to master that art.

But I'm shattered and tired out,
somebody wake me up by giving me a clout.

Time is getting on, I better hurry up,
I say, as I reach for my coffee cup.

Slurp, slurp, slurp,
Burp, burp, burp.

Getting in the mood for throwing some arrows,
but I'm away with the sparrows.

I really do have to get up, but I need some vim,
Help me up, please Jim.

OH DEAR!

I've not written a poem for a while,
That's not making me smile.

Especially when I used to have a passion for it.
I really need to knuckle down and commit.

Sadly, the simple fact is,
I've got myself in a bit of a tizz.

I'm writing stories a lot now,
I know, I've been a cow.

But hey, my dearest friend, poetry, I'm going to make some time,
and start to rhyme.

Update on 'Girl from the Kip' and my short story eBook entitled, ' Tales of Romance in a Virtuous Era'

' Girl from the Kip' is on schedule and should be out at the end of the month.

I need to change colour for this...

'Tales of Romance in a Virtuous Era' Well, while proofreading; cutting and pasting; and trying to work out why the formatting was different on each story, I am back on track. It was something to do with putting the wrong heading on each story, so a big shout out to Google.

Then, I thought I had deleted it, hours of work down the pan, but luckily, I found it.

Back to the serene colour now. Everything is back on track.  PHEW!

Don't do it Sue

There's a packet of Custard Creams in the cupboard that will go nice with my tea.
They are just sitting there waiting for me.

I have to admit, I'm tempted to open them up,
and dip three or four into my cup.

But I can't, because I've just had a Fry's Peppermint Cream.
It was a dream.

What's that I hear you say, I'm on holiday?
It's time to have fun and play?

______________

Well, that's alright then, why didn't you say before.
I'll have four.

Now, where's my tea,
I want to set them biscuits free.

Then, when Beth and Lady Hadly have an altercation, Beth faces a life of deception, betrayal and revenge.
