Bringing poetry to the masses

I started a poetry club at school,

and eight children came... which was cool.

We did nonsense poetry and it went down well,

and they all wanted to stay, beyond the bell.

They were so eager, it was great to see.

They were all happy and carefree.

They all brought a poem to read and they were so full of fun,

but was sad when the poetry club was done.

So hopefully, I will see at least half of them next week, or even more.

Because I want to bring the joy of poetry to their door.
