A walk in the sunshine

It's a wonderfully lush summer's day,
and it's hard to keep my joy at bay.

I'll be off for a walk again later to keep the doc at bay.
Trouble is, there are no coffee shops on the way.

Which is good really, because it means I have to go without.
So I'll just be getting a great workout.

I feel optimistic today, how could it not be,
when the sun is out,
and there is a glistening sea.

Nature has healing properties that allow our bodies to breath and dust the cobwebs away.
Nature has a purity that keeps the bad things at bay.

___________

As I walk along the cliff face,
I am going to enjoy the open space.

I'm going to pause and take time to take in the view.
And to whoever looks over us, I intend to say a big thank you.
