Male Bonding

There's a new van sitting outside needing some care,

but no need to worry, as the men of the family are there.

There's buckets, dusters and cleaning fluid flying around, and a sound of laughter as a bucket of water hits the ground.

They are taking their time and cleaning all those craggy bits.

They've been at it for two days now and it's really getting on my...............

Bits and pieces is what they're using and there's nothing left for me.

But I'm not worried, it means I have nothing to clean with, and that suits me. 

I'm not too worried about that, as there out of my hair,

I'm just anticipating how much it's going to cost me for wear and tear.

And there it is, they need a steering wheel cover; a piece of lino; a couple of pedal covers and a book.

I smile and say, yes dear, and I need; a new bra, a new skirt and a couple of tops. So you see girls, that's all it took.

There's no complaints about me buying clothes or shoes now is there. 

Oh no, now it seems, there will be money to spare.
